Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation. In such a state, your unconscious mind (the right back part of your brain) opens up to receive helpful and beneficial suggestions, such as the ones you receive during a session. In a state of deep relaxation, we will bypass your critical faculty and your ego, which will allow you to readily accept the suggestions we have determined that will help you the most in your current situation.

You always have the right to reject any suggestion given. You never relinquish that right. Hypnosis is NOT mind control. It is NOT sleep. At any time, you want to get up and walk out, you may. You will be fully aware of what is going on. In fact, you will even be able to answer questions or raise your hand if asked to do so. In fact, if you have to go to the restroom, you would come out of hypnosis and use the restroom.

You can NOT control someone’s mind with the use of hypnosis. You cannot make subjects do or say anything in hypnosis that they do not want to say or do. They must want to accomplish hypnosis and the results that they desire for hypnosis to work.

And you DO want it to work...your diet, your training...your entire mental state when you step on stage!

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. All a hypnotherapist does is act as a guide to help you achieve your goals. Hypnosis is something you do for yourself.  We have all experienced hypnosis at one time or another. For instance, daydreaming is closely related to hypnosis. You can remember when you were in class and the teacher called your name and you did not hear him/her because you were internalizing. Highway hypnosis is another example. When you’re driving down the highway, looking at the lines, this can be very mesmerizing as anyone who has drive on the highway at night can attest to.

We all go in and out of trances daily. We just choose not to call it hypnosis. Any time you internalize whether it is meditation, daydreaming, etc., you are in a form of hypnosis. Everyone is capable of achieving hypnosis should they choose to do so. You just need to relax and allow us to guide. In your deep state of relaxation, you can and will make permanent changes providing you want to make the changes.
